2020 Paint the Paper Pink Lincoln Daily News October 2020 Page 77 P aint P ink P A P E R The T oday, Saturday, October 31st, marks the final day of the annual Lincoln Daily News Paint the Paper Pink campaign. We end the month with a salute to how it all began, featuring photos of the ownership, management and staff of Collision Concepts, CCAOnline, and Lincoln Daily News. Four years ago, this group joined to put together the first pink campaign, not knowing for sure that it would grow into what it has become. Even though we saw a reduction in numbers this year due to the coronavirus, a total of 703 people stepped up wearing their pink and showing their love and support for our current cancer warriors and our cancer survivors. While there were fewer people this year, the staff of these three businesses are grateful to each and every one of you. It takes only one person, one smile, one word of encouragement to brighten someone’s day, and through your pink shirts you have done so 703 times! Thanks to all!
