2021 PAINT THE PAPER PINK

2021 PAINT THE PAPER PINK LINCOLN DAILY NEWS Oct./Nov. 2021 Page 61 As soon as the drawing was completed, Hoffman was called and was very excited to learn that he had won. Later that morning, he came to the bunker to visit his new guns. Hoffman is a collector and has made many purchases at the Bunker. Denny and Duvall said there would be no issues with Hoffman’s background checks or FOID card confirmation. Nonetheless, the winner had to wait the statutory period before actually claiming his prize. Duvall said that if the winner had not been eligible, there would have to have been a second drawing. Thankfully that was not needed. Denny and Duvall provided one of the pistols and sold the second to Friends and Family for a discount price. There were about 235 tickets sold at $20 each. Duvall and Denny topped off the 2021 Pink Challenges with $4,000 raised for breast cancer research and support. Photos by Nila Smith and Montie Denty
