Page 62 2021 PAINT THE PAPER PINK LINCOLN DAILY NEWS Oct./Nov. 2021 O n Wednesday, September 29th, the Country Aire Restaurant in Atlanta took the Pink Challenge hosting a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. On that day owner Nick Bekteshi set aside 10 percent of the day’s receipts for the ACS. This week Bekteshi presented a check for $150 to Karen Hargis of the Friends and Family Relay Team. The money will be sent to the ACS as part of the team’s October Pink Pumpkin fundraising campaign. Photo by Lisa Ramlow
