Annual Easter Egg Hunt
at the
Lincoln Park District

On Saturday morning, several dozen children and parents gathered on the putting greens at
the Lincoln Park District. They were not there to golf. Rather, they had a greater ambition in
mind; scooping up as many brightly colored Easter Eggs as possible.
The brightly colored plastic eggs were filled with sweet treats. Some of the eggs also had spe-
cial tickets inside that entitled the winner to a larger prize.
The Easter Bunny was also on hand with his special assistant. Between the two, the children
received lots of hugs and smiles and extra candy treats.
The annual event at the Park District is sponsored by the Park District, Lincoln Daily News,
Logan Mason Rehab, Symphony of Lincoln and Thornton Oil Company.
