It can also be found online in the magazine rack inside Lincoln Daily News. Farm Outlook is published twice-a-year, spring (online and in print) and fall (online only). This year’s breakfast featured Logan County farm native Eli Klokkenga of Wyffels Hybrids as guest speaker and was held at Lincoln College’s Jack Nutt Arena on Thursday, March 22nd. The breakfast was hosted by the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce for many years. This year the Logan County Farm Bureau took over hosting the event and made it a goal to put more money from local sponsors into agriculture career scholarships. You can contact the Farm Bureau about supporting future scholarships. Four scholarship recipients were named at the breakfast. See Lincoln Daily News online for coverage of the event including the students recognized with scholarships. The information can readily be found in the LDN Archives or Googled. The staff of Lincoln Daily News would like to recognize and extend our thanks to the Logan County Farm Bureau for hosting this event and for all they do for the Logan County farm community.
