2015 PROM GRAND MARCH MAY 5, 2015 LINCOLN DAILY NEWS.COM 63
Later on, the “Hollywood Night’s” themed prom took place at the American Legion Home in Mount Pulaski.
Following an evening of dancing, senior Samantha McCarty commented the prom was “fun but exhausting”.
Nearly 100 students then took part in the Post Prom held at the high school. Food, fun, games, prizes, a photo
booth and a hypnotist were all part of the 27th annual event put on by the Post Prom Committee.
It’s worth mentioning that one particular volunteer, Delmar Stewart, has attended 26 post proms, he guards the
back door, among other duties, and makes sure things run smoothly.
Thanks to the many donations from parents and businesses from around the Logan County community and be-
yond, the committee can provide each student with at least one prize. The large prizes offered this year that were
chosen right away included a 24 inch Smart TV, a mini fridge, Beats headphones and the popular Beats Pill.
Thanks to all those that support this night of fun for the youth in the Mount Pulaski community.
