ALMH offers a full diagnostic Sleep Disorder Diagnostics Clinic that
operates five days a week and includes treating narcolepsy and
insomnia. Specialist Eddie Smith has been working in the field 13
years, the past two years at ALMH. Eddie loves what he does and he
loves being there. One of the many diagnostics he performs is for those
who stop breathing during sleep. This can lead to high blood pressure,
coronary artery disease and fatigue. Eddie fits CPAPs for consistent
oxygen supply during sleep. He says that the newest apparatus are
lighter weight and quiet.
