When looking for a contractor for your project, ask for references
and check a few of those. Ask the references about their
experience in working with the contractor: Were they pleased
with the quality of workmanship? How was the company to work
with as the project progressed? How well did they work with
other subcontractors, such as electrical and plumbing, heating
and cooling? How good was the company at meeting terms of the
contract on timeliness, regular cleanup and staying within budget?
