          It is known that

          ultraviolet light

          exposure, in small

          amounts, is associated

          with health benefits

          including vitamin

          D production and

          improved moods.

          Sunroom owners are in

          agreement that the extra

          amount of sunlight they

          are exposed to helps

          their daily outlook. The

          sunrooms give them a

          feeling of being outside

          that helps boost their

          energy and keeps them

          charged for everyday

          tasks and activities.

          Whether relaxing

          or entertaining,

          homeowners find that

          the sunroom is a great

          place to exercise,

          read a book, enjoy a

          cup of coffee, get rid

          of worries, share a

          laugh with neighbors

          and friends, or just

          commune with nature.

          avid gardener since

she was a child, but her real

          passion is the study and

          practical uses of herbs. When

she came to Lincoln to give

Mary Buckles grew up on a

          her grandfather for instilling

in her a love of gardening.

While the adults took care of

the crops, the children in her

family were given the care of

          the garden, an essential part

of rural life at the time.

          playing in the dirt, her

          grandfather encouraged it,

as long as it involved tending

          the soil, planting seeds and

          caring for the growing bounty

          of the garden.

          Buckles laughed when she

          said, “Granddad chose me
