It is not unusual to get tired of your habitat sooner or later. More homes are sold in the spring than any other season, but moving is expensive and life changing. If you are bored with the layout of your home, it can actually make you feel tired or depressed. Instead of leaping into changing homes, rearranging the furniture can renew your space in several ways: • Changing the flow of the room can save your flooring from deteriorating so quickly. • Moving seating areas from direct sunlight can help with protecting the fabric, especially leather. • Moving the television to avoid sunlight hitting the screen helps families take advantage of longer daylight hours. • Turning a desk or chair toward or away from the window can give you a new view. • Moving a large piece of furniture to the wall can open the flow of the room. Contrasting, pulling furniture away from walls, facing sofas and chairs to each other, can create a conversation area for friends and family. • Rearranging the furniture can give the illusion that remodeling has been done without spending any money. When a room becomes uninteresting the family becomes less productive. Moving furniture helps boost creativity and increases efficiency. As you reorganize your space, refine what you truly love, need and want in that area. Even if you are a person who enjoys routine a little change, particularly in the spring, will invigorate your mind and spirit.
