Frosty Lime Sherbet Punch

2 quarts lime sherbet, slightly softened
1 liter lemon-lime soda pop, chilled
1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice, chilled
lime slices
Maraschino cherries
About one hour before serving, put sherbet in punch bowl. Later,
soften sherbet carefully with wooden spoon. Slowly add soda pop
and pineapple juice; stirring to make a creamy mixture. Decorate
with lime slices and maraschino cherries if desired. Punch will
be creamy, slushy and refreshing.
