Pretzel Dessert

“A new twist on an old idea.”
2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter, melted
2 envelopes whipped topping mix (Dream Whip)
1 cup cold milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
In a large bowl, combine the pretzels, sugar and butter. Press
the mixture into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish; set aside. In
a large bowl, beat the whipped topping mix, milk and vanilla on
high speed for 4 minutes or until soft peaks form. Add softened
cream cheese and confectioners' sugar; beat until smooth. Spread
over crust; top with pie filling. Refrigerate overnight. Cut
into squares to serve.
