Bacon-Wrapped Water
Chestnuts

“These disappear at every party.”
1 pound bacon
2-3 cans water chestnuts
sauce:
1 small bottle catsup
1/3 cup brown sugar
¾ cup sugar
Wrap chestnuts with 1/3-1//2 piece of bacon and secure with a
toothpick that has been soaked in water. Broil in oven until
bacon is cooked. Simmer sauce ingredients; add chestnuts to
sauce and serve.
