Fresh Peach Cobbler

“Makes a delicious crust on top of the fresh peaches!”

˝ cup margarine
3/4 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup sugar

Melt margarine in a 9x13 inch pan. In mixing bowl, stir together milk, first cup of sugar, flour, and baking powder. Pour this mixture over the melted margarine in pan. DO NOT STIR! Carefully top with sliced peaches over this. Sprinkle the cinnamon and remaining cup of sugar over the peaches. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm with ice cream or cooled with whipped topping.
