Sausage and Apple
Stuffing

1 pound bulk pork sausage
1/4 cup butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced celery
1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
1 (14 oz.) package herb-seasoned stuffing cubes
¾-1 cup pecan pieces
In a large skillet, brown sausage; drain. Add butter, onion and
celery; cook until vegetables are tender. Stir in pie filling,
broth and parsley. In a large bowl, combine stuffing cubes,
pecans and hot mixture. Place in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking
dish. Bake uncovered in 325 degree oven for 40 minutes. Serve
hot with meal.
