Cherry Icebox Cookies
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup chopped candied cherries
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix all ingredients together. Shape into log rolls 1 1/2 inch in
diameter. Wrap in waxed paper and store overnight in ice box.
Slice 1/4 inch thick and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375
degrees.
