Shredded BBQ chicken
“tender, juicy meat and very easy to make.”
3 pounds chicken boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 (6 oz.) can pineapple juice
1/3 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
water
½ - 1 cup ketchup
½ - 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
In slower cooker, place chicken; sprinkle chili powder over top.
In a small bowl combine pineapple juice, 1/3 cup ketchup, brown
sugar and honey; pour over top of chicken. Add enough water to
cover chicken when laying flat on bottom of slow cooker. Cook on
low heat all day or over night. When chicken is cooked, remove
from juice and shred with 2 forks. Add ketchup and BBQ sauce
with desired amount. At this point you can heat in saucepan or
else chill to reheat later. Serve on buns.
