Easy Veggie Pizza
1 (8 oz.) package refrigerated crescent
rolls
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Beau Monde seasoning
1 (12 oz.) package Marketside pre-package vegetable medley
(broccoli, cauliflower and carrots)
green onion
1 cup finely shredded mild cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet non-stick
cooking spray. Pat crescent roll dough into a jellyroll pan.
Bake for 10 minutes or lightly brown; let cool.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream
and seasoning mix. Spread this mixture on top of the cooled
crust. In food processor chop veggies; sprinkle on top of cream
cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with green onions and cheddar cheese. Press down
slightly. Chill. Cut into squares when ready to serve.
NOTE: Beau Monde is an old-time spice found in the spice aisle
of the grocery store; I found a jar at our Kroger store. Also to
make these low-fat, use low-fat products for crescent rolls,
cream cheese, sour cream and cheddar cheese.
