The young ladies performed several numbers using dance and hand signs to tell the stories of the songs. A portion of their program was performed on the lap track with balloons, while another part was performed on stage. Zumba with Bethany As the day wore on, some of the attendees may have become a little lethargic. To help boost the energy in the room, Bethany Rademaker led an invigorating session of Zumba in the middle of the room. Participants, including Miss Logan County Fair Queen Molly Schempp and Junior Miss Logan County Fair Julia Collins worked frantically to follow the fast paced movements of the leader. A number of them worked up a little bit of a sweat, and a few actually dropped out before the end of the session. For those watching from the wings, toe tapping was inevitable as the upbeat music caught the attention of nearly everyone present. Of course, there is always that one odd man out type person and on the Zumba floor that would have been Tabitha Weidhuner, who calmly watched the group while munching a slice of pizza. [Nila Smith]
