2012 Art and Balloon Festival
Friday evening balloon launch
Friday evening the first hot air balloon launch of this year’s festival went off without a hitch.
There was a short period of time when the breezes kicked up and some wondered if it would
be too windy for the evening flights. But after a short while, the winds calmed a bit and all the
balloons launched.
As the balloons took to the sky and traveled to the northeast, it was indeed a beautiful sight.
