Marcella
C. Allen, 81, of Lincoln died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001,
at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Her
funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at First United
Methodist Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. Larry Maffett
officiating.
Burial
will be in Union Cemetery at Odell.
Visitation
will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln.
Mrs.
Allen was a housewife.
She
was born June 13, 1920, in Mazon to Karl and Carrie Hill Thorson.
She married Harold E. Allen in Rowe on Nov. 28, 1954.
Surviving
Mrs. Allen are one daughter, Sherry Allen of Lincoln; one son, Kevin
Allen of Lincoln; and two grandchildren.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers. She
was the last of her immediate family.
She
was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lincoln.
Memorials
may be made to her church or to Lincoln Developmental Center.
