Blair, 74, of Lincoln died at 10:34 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at
his home.
Graveside
services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at Zion Cemetery,
Lincoln.
Visitation
will be at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln one hour before
the service time.
Blair
was a retired mechanic. He had worked for The Farm Store in Clinton.
He
was born April 14, 1927, in Kentucky to Allie and Ethel Graham
Blair. He married Linda Voyles on July 11, 1972, in Effingham.
Surviving
Blair are his wife, of Lincoln; sons and daughters, Bev Carter of
Louisville, Barb Hale of Rinard, Kay Oldham of Edgewood, Karen
Winchester of Iuka, and Sheila Lagle, Duncan Blair and Lee Blair,
all of Flora; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers
and sisters, Reba Bateson and Juanita Underwood of Clinton, Charlie
Blair of Hodgeville, Marie Coffey of Magnolia, Ky., Elizabeth
Phillips of Elmonte, Calif., Dora Sutton of Auburn and Lydia Sutton
of Bloomington.
He
was of the Protestant faith.
In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of

Stiltz
Raymond
Nelson Stiltz, 90, of Easton died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6,
2001, at Havana Health Care.
His
funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at Hurley Funeral Home
in Mason City, with Richard Stiltz officiating.
Burial
will be in Easton Cemetery, Easton
Visitation
will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Stiltz
was manager of the Teheran Elevator for 30 years.
He
was born Sept. 7, 1911, in Mason City to William and Martha Isaccs
Stiltz. He married Esta Dietz on July 25, 1936, in Jacksonville. She
survives.
Also
surviving are two sons, George (and Linda) Stiltz of Havana and Jim
(and Vi) Stiltz of Zapata, Texas; one daughter, Eunice (and Ed)
Heinhorst of Forest City; eight grandchildren; several
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Walter
Stiltz of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
He
was preceded in death by one brother and one grandson.
He
was a member of the United Brethren Church in Teheran.

Virgil
James Patton, 83, of Lincoln died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5,
2001, at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.
Graveside
services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Walker’s Grove
Cemetery, Easton, with Pastor Don Hoover officiating.
There
will be no visitation.
Patton
was a union musician in a band and played at many locations. He also
worked for JC Construction of Des Moines, Iowa.
He
was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He
was born Sept. 9, 1918, at Macon, Mo., to Virgil and Myrtle Patton.
He married Pearl Lawrence Vandever in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1947. She
survives, in Marshall, Mo. He married Rita K. Elsberry on May 24,
1983, in Atlanta. She died Aug. 23, 2001.
Patton
is survived by five sons, James, Virgil, Stanley and Phillip Patton
of Des Moines, Iowa, and Joseph Patton of Dallas, Texas; five
daughters, Barbara Frazier and Pearl Moon of Marshall, Mo., and
Lenore Bradley, Freda Williams and Lynn Patton of Des Moines, Iowa;
23 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
One
daughter, Kimberly Patton, preceded him in death.
He
was a member of Lincoln Bible Church and the Musician Union.
He
attended grade school in Sedalia, Mo., and graduated from CC Hubbard
High School in Sedalia. He attended one year at Lincoln University
in Jefferson City, Mo.

Louise
Steiling Adams, 82, of Atlanta died at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4,
2001, at the Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln.
Her
funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Atlanta
Christian Church, with David Harmon officiating.
Burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Waynesville.
Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Quiram
Funeral Home, Atlanta, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs.
Adams worked several years as a cook for the Olympia School
District.
She
was born Nov. 7, 1919, at Waynesville to Holton and Emma Meachum
Leever. She married John C. Steiling on Feb. 16, 1942, in Louisiana,
Mo. He died Sept. 17, 1974. She married Leo W. Adams on Sept. 12,
1980, in Atlanta. He died May 11, 1988.
Surviving
are two sons, Donald (and Susie) Steiling of Atlanta and Richard
(and Christine) Steiling of Thiensville, Wis.; one daughter, Diana
(and Grant) Breakville of Normal; five grandchildren; one
great-grandson; eight stepgrandchildren; 16
step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Nelson Leever of Riverside,
Calif., and Ted Leever of Lincoln; one sister, Marjorie Hickey of
Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
She
was also preceded in death by two brothers.
She
was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church and served as janitor
there for 13 years. She was a former member of the Atlanta Woman’s
Club.
Memorial

Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln.
