Raymond Gee

Raymond Gee, 85, of Bullhead City, Ariz., formerly of Mount Pulaski, died Monday, June 18, 2001, in Bullhead City.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Mount Pulaski Cemetery, Mount Pulaski, with Joe Lucas officiating.

Visitation, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, will be during the hour before the service on Friday.

Gee owned Gee Farm Supply. He retired in 1979.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was born Jan. 20, 1916, in Vernon, Ky., to Heber and Amelia (Reecer) Gee. He married Verna Centers on Sept. 11, 1941, in Logan County. She preceded him in death. He married Margie Smith in January of 1994 in Bullhead City, Ariz. She also preceded him in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol (and John) Coombs of Lincoln and Janet (and Gene) Bowers of Bullhead City, Ariz.; one son, David (and Cheryl) Gee of Mount Pulaski; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, one son, three brothers and three stepsisters.

He was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church and of the American Legion and VFW of Mount Pulaski.

Memorials may be made to Mount Pulaski VFW Post 777 or American Legion Post 447.
