K. Haney, 33, of Middletown, died at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, June 27,
2001, at her home.
Her
funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at Middletown
United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Henry Cox officiating.
Burial
will be in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
Visitation
will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Middletown United Methodist Church.
Kerrigan
Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs.
Haney was a housewife.
She
was born Nov. 27, 1967, in Springfield to Howard and Joanne (Banhart)
Mallonee Sr. She married Anthony Haney on Sept. 25, 1997, in
Springfield. He survives.
Also
surviving are her father, of Athens; her mother, of Tulsa, Okla.;
two sons, Dustin Schultz-Mallonee and Christian Mallonee, both of
Middletown; one sister, Helen Mulkins of Springfield; and two
brothers, Howard "Gene" Mallonee Jr. of Springfield and
Joseph Mallonee of Tulsa, Okla.
She
was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church.

Chapman
William
E. Chapman, 60, of Mount Pulaski died at 7:50 a.m. Monday, June 25,
2001, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
His
funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, at the First
Christian Church of Mount Pulaski, with Marvin Flowers and Bill
Shanle officiating.
Burial
will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Visitation
will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Mount Pulaski.
Chapman
was a truck driver for Mount Pulaski Products.
He
was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Mount Erie to George W. and Doris E. (Emmerling)
Chapman.
Surviving
are his father, of Mount Pulaski; three sons, Robert Chapman, Dennis
(and Kelly) Chapman and Andrew Chapman, all of Mount Pulaski; one
daughter, Laurie (and Doug) Craycraft of Greenview; two
grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Chapman of Mount Pulaski; and
one sister, Freda (and George) Gibbs of Cornland.
He
was preceded in death by his mother and maternal and paternal
grandparents.
He
was a member of Lake Fork Christian Church.

‘Red’ Langenbahn Jr.
Virgil
K. "Red" Langenbahn Jr., 69, of Lincoln died at 8:15 a.m.
Sunday, June 24, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He
donated his body to medical science. There will be no visitation or
services.
Langenbahn
retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass in 1989. He was a line worker.
He
served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He
was born Oct. 10, 1931, in rural Lincoln to Virgil K. and Florence
(Sarver) Langenbahn Sr. He married Margaret Tumilty Baker on May 28,
1977, in Lincoln.
She
survives.
Also
surviving are one son, Steven Baker of Lincoln; three daughters,
Pamela Baker and Julie Rogers, both of Lincoln, and Lori (and Bill)
Schaub of Hartsburg; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and
one sister, Edna Strunk of Lincoln.
He
was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mary Walters
and Ilene Janis.
His
was a member of Eagles Lodge and American Legion Post 263.

Frank
Mast
Frank
H. Mast, 78, of Lincoln died at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at
Christian Village Nursing Home.
There
will be no visitation. Cremation rites will be accorded.
There
will be a memorial service at Kerrigan Funeral Home at a later date.
Mast
was quality control supervisor at the former Lehn & Fink Co. He
retired in 1985.
He
was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served in the Army
Signal Corps in the Pacific Theater.
He
was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Quincy to Oscar and Clara (Terwelp) Mast.
Surviving
are his wife, Delora Mast, of Lincoln; two daughters, Karel Thompson
of Montgomery and Charlotte Griffin of Lincoln; four grandchildren;
12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, William Mast of Quincy.
Memorials
may be made to Christian Village Nursing Home.

Mildred
Annette Alexander, 89, of Hartsburg died at 7:10 p.m. Saturday, June
23, 2001, at St. John’s Hospice in Springfield.
Her
funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 28, at Hartsburg
United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Doug Rettig officiating.
Burial
will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Visitation
will be one hour before the service at the church.
Arrangements
are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln.
Mrs.
Alexander and her husband owned and operated Alexander & Co. in
Detroit, Mich.
She
was born Dec. 25, 1911, in Hartsburg to Gustave and Mamie Oltmanns
Zieglowsky. She married Campbell Alexander.
Surviving
Mrs. Alexander are two nephews, Brian Conover of Rochester and James
Zieglowsky of Superstition Mountain, Ariz., and two nieces, Patricia
Behm of Hartsburg and Sharon Sanders of Jerusalem, Israel.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two
sisters. She was the last of her immediate family.
She
was a member of Hartsburg United Methodist Church.
She
was a graduate of Brown’s Business College in Peoria.
