Paul Anderson

Paul C. Anderson, 90, of Lincoln died at 4 a.m. Aug. 10, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach, Fla.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kerrigan-Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

His memorial Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Church in Lincoln, with Father Thomas Taylor officiating.

Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Anderson retired in 1977. He was a distributor in Lincoln for a major oil company for 19 years, a supervisor for Stetson China Company for 12 years until it closed and was employed 12 years at Lincoln High School.

He was born Jan. 31, 1912, near Middletown in Menard County, to Edmon L. and Sallie Croft Anderson. He married Rosemary Sieb in 1941 in Lincoln. She died in 1966.

Survivors are a son, Joseph P. Anderson of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and a niece, Dorothy Dirks of Athens.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

He was a member of Holy Family Church.

He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and of Brown’s Business College in Springfield.
