Paul Hoy

Paul Hoy, 62, of Lincoln died at 4:23 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, in the intensive care unit at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln.

There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Paul Hoy was owner of Hoy’s Welding, Truck Repair and Wrecker Service of Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield

Marie Renken

Marie Christina Renken, 97, of Mason City died at 1:13 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Hurley Funeral Home in San Jose.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, rural San Jose, with the Rev. Marvin Lorenz officiating.

Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, San Jose.

Mrs. Renken was a homemaker. She taught at Fairview School, a country school south of San Jose, from 1922 to 1926.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, San Jose, or to Mason City Area Nursing Home.

Jeanette West

Jeanette West, 60, of Lincoln died at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Holland and Barry, with the Rev. Ron Simmons officiating.

Mrs. West was a nurse and retired in 1991 after 20 years of service as a state employee.

Memorials may be made to Lincoln Church of God or to the Church of God Orphanage.
