The battle rages on over the proposed closing of this institution, Lincoln Developmental Center.  LDC residents, guardians, parents, employees and community continue to fight to keep LDC open.  Two cases are pending review. The Illinois Supreme Court has issued a stay on resident moves as it decides if it will hear the court case.  The Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board meets August 15 to consider issuing a permit for closure of the facility.
