Deborah Klein

Deborah Lynn Klein, 48, of Riverton died at 2:10 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2002, at her home.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at Mount Pulaski United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home of Illiopolis is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Klein was a registered nurse employed as a home health-care surveyor with the Department of Public Health. She had also worked for 14 years as a labor and delivery nurse at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born Oct. 11, 1953, in Lincoln to Dean and Mary "Peggy" Downing Scott. She married Terry Klein in 1989.

Surviving are her husband, of Riverton; her parents, of Mount Pulaski; one daughter, Shannon Vincent of Springfield; one son, Matthew Charles Vincent and wife Andra of Springfield; and three sisters, Kathy Richardson and husband Franklin of Mesa, Ariz., Judy Emrick and husband Lyndel of Mount Pulaski, and Gloria Reynolds and husband Dave of Springfield.

She was a member of Mount Pulaski United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to her church or to the American Diabetes Association.
