Duginger
Vera M.
Duginger, 85, of Lincoln died Monday (Aug. 11, 2003) at 10:30 p.m.
at St. Clara's Manor.
Her
funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home
in Lincoln, with Dr. Carroll Richards officiating. Visitation will
be one hour before the service.
Burial
will be in Richmond Grove Cemetery, New Holland.
Mrs.
Duginger farmed with her husband for many years.
She was
born July 18, 1918, in Logan County to Fletcher and Fannie Wendell McArthy. She married Glenn B. Duginger on Dec. 8, 1940, in Logan
County.
Survivors are her husband, of Lincoln; one brother, Loren McArthy
(and Katherine) of Lincoln; and four nieces.
She was
a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Lincoln, where
she taught Sunday school for many years and was a member of the Mary
Martha class. She was also a member of the New Holland Legion
Auxiliary.

Marjorie
Klemm
Marjorie S. Klemm, 77, of
Decatur died Sunday (Aug. 10, 2003) at 12:35 p.m. at Lincoln Manor
Nursing Home in Decatur.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home
in Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at
10 a.m. Thursday at Holland and Barry, with Tom Gerdts officiating.
Burial will be in Zion
Cemetery, Lincoln.
Mrs. Klemm was a
secretary at First National Bank in Lincoln before she retired.
She was born Jan. 18,
1926, in Elmwood to Howard and Louise Shissler Schlots. She married
Clarence Klemm on Oct. 7, 1945, in Elmwood. He preceded her in
death.
Survivors are three
sons, Wayne Klemm (and Joyce) of Torrance, Calif., Bruce Klemm (and
Linda) of Huntington Beach, Calif., and David Klemm (and Linda) of
Decatur; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Donald Schlots (and Jean) of
Smithville, N.J.; and one sister, Martha Hudson of Elmwood.
Mrs. Klemm was a
member of Lincoln Christian Church and the PEO.
Memorials may be made to the American
Heart Association.

Ronald Downes
Ronald Downes, 69, of Lincoln died
Tuesday (Aug. 12, 2003) at 9:20 a.m. at Friendship Manor.
There will be no
visitation.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m.
Wednesday at Zion Cemetery, Lincoln. The Rev. Mark Peters will
officiate.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
He was born March 18,
1934, in Peoria to Margaret Reba Downes.
Survivors are his
caregivers, Jack and Shirley Bartelmay of Lincoln.
He was the last of
his immediate family.
He attended First
United Methodist Church.
He was a scorekeeper
for Lincoln High School baseball and American Legion baseball and
was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
Memorials
may be given to Lincoln High School Baseball Boosters.
