[AUG. 30, 2003]
In
the 5K run sponsored by the Lincoln Park District during the Lincoln
Art & Balloon Festival, Stan Clark was the first-place male
overall. Clark was here as a balloonist from Kentucky. His son came
with them last year and won the race. Laura Clark, Stan’s wife, has
also placed first in past years.
|
Barb Vederber Bowlby
was first-place female overall. This is the third year in a row she
has won. Lincoln Park District Program Coordinator Roy
Logan said, "We had to change the style of the trophies so that she
wouldn't have so many of the same kind."
