Kandy Ann Frye, 37, of Lincoln died Saturday (Nov. 29, 2003) at 5:39 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.

Cremation rites were accorded.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tom Gerdts officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Burial will be at a later date.

Ms. Frye was a homemaker.

She was born Dec. 16, 1965, in Lincoln to Thomas Eldon and Helen Wade Frye.

Survivors are her mother, Helen Merreighn of Lincoln; her stepfather, Francis Merreighn of Lincoln; three children; two sisters, Mary (and Lester) Graber of Lincoln and Helen Taft of Lincoln; and four brothers, Joseph Grimsley of Lincoln, Charles L. Grimsley of Springfield, John S. (and Joyce) Grimsley of Lincoln and Robert Frye of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her father and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Memorials may be given to the Graber family.

Fernola May Seefeldt, 85, of Mount Pulaski died Saturday (Nov. 29, 2003) at 6:55 a.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Mount Pulaski, with Bill Shanle officiating.

Burial, with military rites, will be in Lake Bank Cemetery, Latham.

Mrs. Seefeldt was a registered nurse.

Memorials may be made to the Latham Fire Department or Latham Methodist Church.

Frances M. Trowbridge, 72, of Lincoln died Sunday (Nov. 30, 2003) at 10:55 a.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. There will be an Eagle service at 6:45 p.m.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Wayne Armstrong officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.

Mrs. Trowbridge was postmistress at Beason for 32 years.

She was born March 5, 1931, in Lincoln to Ike and Mabel Long Rohlfs. She married Rex Trowbridge in Lincoln in 1948. He died in 1981.

Survivors are one son, Randy (and Marcy) Trowbridge of Middletown; one grandson, Kelby Trowbridge of Middletown; one granddaughter, Nicole Trowbridge of Middletown; one great-grandson, Kelby Trowbridge Jr. of Middletown; and one sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Sprague of Lincoln.

She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and the Eagles Auxiliary, in which she held various offices.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for her grandchildren. The fund is established at State Bank of Lincoln.

Anna Minder, 94, of Lincoln died at 2:40 a.m. Friday (Nov. 28, 2003) at Maple Ridge Care Centre, Lincoln. Mrs. Minder had resided there the last several years.

Visitation and a rosary service were on Sunday evening at Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln.

Her funeral was Monday morning at Holy Family Church, Lincoln.

Burial is in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lincoln. 

Mrs. Minder was a homemaker. 

She was born in Lincoln on Jan. 2, 1909, to Richard and Anna Auer Stuan. She married Orville C. Minder Aug. 25, 1938, in Lincoln. He died Nov. 27, 2001.

 Surviving are one daughter, Marianne E. (and Raymond) Rakers of Springfield; one son, Gary L. (and Cynthia) Minder of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of Holy Family Church, Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to her church or a charity of the donor's choice.
