From Roy Logan, program coordinator

[DEC. 16, 2003]  We are just days away from our remodeling being completed. We are really excited to be able to open the doors of our beautiful facility. An open house for the community is being planned for January. Anyone interested in a sneak preview is invited to stop in; we never get tired of showing off everything that has been accomplished.

We also have a new membership program for you to choose from. We now offer a three-tiered membership package that will meet a majority of everyone's needs. You may call 732-8770 for price information or stop at the center.

Coed volleyball sign-up is going on now. Get a roster from the front desk and get your team signed up. We will play on Tuesdays, beginning at 6:30 p.m. League play will begin Jan. 6 on our brand-new courts. Completed rosters must be turned in by Dec. 21. Schedules will be available Dec. 23.

Men's basketball team registration is also going on now. Rosters, rules and all other information are available at the front desk. We will play on Wednesday nights starting Jan. 7. Completed rosters will need to be turned in by Dec. 21. Schedules will be available Dec. 23.

Don't let the winter doldrums get you down. We have a great lineup of winter programs. Some of our offerings will be hip-hop dance for young people, crafts with Norma, photography with Steve Klemm, sign language, tumbling and indoor arena horseback riding lessons.

A winter brochure is featured here at Lincoln Daily News. Click on the cover (above) to explore the pages detailing a fun and educational winter season.
