Rosa Dumas

Rosa Barbara Korbe Dumas, 87, of Lincoln died Thursday (Oct. 9, 2003) at 3:35 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor.

She was cremated, and a memorial service will be at a later date.

Tuscola Cemetery is the burial place.

Mrs. Dumas retired as owner and operator of First Packaged Liquors in Tuscola and was formerly a court reporter and retailer in Fowler, Ind.

She was born Jan. 26, 1916, in Benton County, Ind., to John Louis and Rose Caroline Graf Korbe. She married Donald N. Dumas on April 17, 1944, in Sacred Heart Church, Fowler, Ind.

Survivors are her husband, at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln; four daughters, Deborah Dumas (and Paul) Short of Lincoln, Julie Dumas (and Richard) Griffith of St. Louis, Mo., Stephanie Dumas of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Annette Dumas Gettleman of Lincoln.; two grandchildren, Patrick Gettleman (and Stephanie Turley) of Lincoln and Elizabeth Short of Chicago; and one sister, Isabel Bower of Fowler, Ind.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of Holy Family Church of Lincoln, the Altar and Rosary Society of the church, and the American Business Women's Association.

She organized Brownie day camps in Tuscola.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, Lincoln Public Library or St. Clara's Manor.

Timothy Wilham

Timothy C. Wilham, 44, of Mount Pulaski died Tuesday (Oct. 7, 2003), at 11:30 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

His funeral was Saturday morning at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader in Mount Pulaski, with John Robertson and Bill Shanle officiating. Visitation was on Friday at the funeral home.

Burial is in Steenbergen Cemetery.

Mr. Wilham was a maintenance man.

He was born Oct. 19, 1958, in Lincoln to C. Wayne and Mabel Holmes Wilham. He married Charity F. McDonough on March 9, 1998, in Lincoln.

Survivors are his wife, Charity Wilham, of Mount Pulaski; one son, Matthew C. (and Mamie) Wilham of Lincoln; one daughter, Andrea L. Hanna of Mount Pulaski; two grandchildren, Darian and Mathew Dawson, both of Lincoln; his parents, of Mount Pulaski; and one sister, Diana (and Jerry) Stoll of Chestnut.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Louise Wilham and Earl and Helen Holmes.

He was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
