Lincoln College defeats Illinois Central
in men's soccer    

[OCT. 17, 2003]  EAST PEORIA -- Lincoln College handed Illinois Central College a 3-1 defeat in men's soccer action here Thursday afternoon. The Lynx are in action Saturday at Springfield against Lincoln Land.

Pat Barrett scored the first Lynx goal on a breakaway shot. Zach Ziegler then scored the next two goals for the Lynx. The first goal was scored with an assist from Augustin Barboza and Saalim Mahamed. Barboza also assisted on the third goal for the Lynx.

Illinois Central scored its only goal on a corner kick.
