LC baseball vs. Springfield College     Send a link to a friend

[APRIL 15, 2005]  Lincoln College and Springfield College split a pair of baseball games at Galen Shirley Field in Lincoln Thursday afternoon, with the Lynx winning the opener 4-0 behind Scott Aeschelman. SCI came back to win the second game 5-2.

Aeschelman gave up four hits while striking out two and walking two. "It was good for us to get a few runs for Scott; he has been throwing the ball really well," said Lincoln coach Tony Thomas.

Tyler Casson led a nine-hit attack for the Lynx with three safeties, including a double, a run scored and an RBI. Brian Rynearson had a pair of hits, including a double, with two runs scored for the Lynx. Brad Hall, Jake Jones, Alex Brown and Nick Meredith each had one hit.
