LINCOLN -- Albro Woodworth
McCubbin, 93, formerly of Glasco, Ky., died Wednesday, April
20, 2005, at 8:17 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m.
Saturday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln,
with Craig Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour
prior to the service.
Burial will be in Harmony
Cemetery, Beason.
Mr. McCubbin farmed in East
Lincoln Township before he retired.
He was born March 1, 1912, at
Newt, Ky., to Ovie and Vera Neggles McCubbin. He married Viola
Bush on Jan. 1, 1934, in Kentucky. She died Feb. 10, 1979. He
married Earlene Atwell in October 1979 in Kentucky. She died
in November 2003.
He is survived by one son, Don
"Chub" (and Barbara) McCubbin of Lincoln; one daughter, Ola
Lavera Perce of Sacramento, Calif.; one stepson, Nelson (and
Korin) Amos of Ypsilanti, Mich.; two grandchildren and one
stepgrandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death
by one brother and one stepbrother.
He was a member of Trammel
Creek Baptist Church in Pierce, Ky., where he served as deacon
for many years.

Trammel Creek Baptist Church in Pierce, Ky., or to Jefferson
Street Christian Church in Lincoln.

LINCOLN -- James V. Britsch,
66, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at 2:20 p.m. in
the emergency room at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8
p.m. Friday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with Pastor Mark
Carnahan officiating.
Burial will be in Atlanta
Cemetery.
Mr. Britsch was retired from
Lincoln Developmental Center and was self-employed with
Britsch Towing and Britsch Mobile Home Park.
He was born Jan. 25, 1939, in
Lincoln to Lester and Virginia Moore Britsch.
He is survived by one
daughter, Kathleen A. (and Michael) Martinie of Lincoln; two
sons, James M. (and Julia) Britsch of Raleigh, N.C., and Trace
L. (and Veronica P.) Britsch of Union, Ky.; six grandchildren;
and one sister, Bonnie Ipsen of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by
his parents and one daughter.
He was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to the
church or to the American Diabetes Association.

LINCOLN -- Eleanor Anne Smith,
77, of Starkville, Miss., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at
Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss.
Visitation will be from 11:30
a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 25, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
A graveside service will be at
1 p.m. Monday in Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker for
her family.
She was born Dec. 21, 1927, in
Scottsbluff, Neb., to John Quincy and Dora Ashby Adams. She
married Dean Dwane Smith on July 27, 1952, in Scottsbluff,
Neb. He died Nov. 30, 1994.
She is survived by two
daughters, Alice Elaine (and Charles "Bo") Morris of Lincoln,
Ill., and Judith Diane (and Keith) Bean of Denton, Texas;
three sons, David Dean (and Paula) Smith of Lincoln, Ill.,
Paul Mark Smith (and Barbara Blaylock) of Acworth, Ga., and
Daniel John Smith of Starkville, Miss.; seven grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Joan (and Don)
Lindhorst of Gering, Neb., Lois (and Cecil) Hinman of Lincoln,
Neb., Kay (and Gary) Dobbins of Woodlands, Texas, and Ilene
(and Richard) McNatt of Marietta, Ga.; and two brothers, Ashby
Adams of Scottsbluff, Neb., and Foster Adams of Cocona, Calif.
She was also preceded in death
by her parents; one sister, Janet Adams; and one
granddaughter, Christy Morris.
She was a member of Aberdeen
Christian Church in Aberdeen, Miss.
She graduated from Minnesota
Bible College and Butler School of Religion in Indianapolis,
Ind.

Teddy Lewis Sapp, 78, of Lincoln, died Saturday, April 16,
2005, at 9:15 a.m. at his home.
A graveside
service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at New Union
Cemetery, with the Rev. R. Anthony Lee officiating.
There will
be no visitation.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home of Lincoln handled
arrangements.
Mr. Sapp was
a technician at Lincoln Developmental Center.
He was born
Jan. 28, 1927, in Lincoln to John and Mamie Elizabeth Cassell
Sapp Sr.
He is
survived by a foster grandson, Richard Bowice of Lincoln, and
several nieces and nephews.
He was
preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
He was a
member of Holy Family Church in Lincoln
