LC softball vs. Danville       Send a link to a friend

[APRIL 21, 2005]  Danville defeated Lincoln College 2-1 and 13-1 in softball action at Lincoln Wednesday afternoon. Krystina Gomez threw another good game for the Lynx, but it wasn't enough as Danville scored a pair of runs on a throwing error in the fourth inning to win the game.

"Tina gave us another solid game with three hits allowed, three strikeout and three walks, but unfortunately one error cost us the game," said Lincoln coach John Andrews. "In the second game, our defense was nonexistent. If you can't make the routine play, then you are in for a long game. We have had a lot of those this season. Hopefully we can turn it around for the regionals in a couple of weeks."

Kelly Nader took the loss in the second game, and Lincoln managed four hits with six errors.
