[APRIL 27, 2005]  DECATUR -- The public is invited to four spring genealogical classes presented by the Decatur Genealogical Society of Macon County. The sessions will be at the Decatur Genealogical Library, 1255 W. South Side Drive, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays: April 28 and May 5, 12 and 19.

Kay Gaitros of Decatur, an excellent and experienced instructor, will lead the sessions. Each class will cover a specific subject: April 28, "Getting Started"; May 5, "Remember"; May 12, "Computer Research"; May 19, "Hidden Resources."

In more than 20 years with the Decatur Genealogical Society, Mrs. Gaitros has held several offices and served on many committees. She is currently the education chairman.

You may attend one or all of the classes. Registration is not required. Each class will cost $3, or $10 for all sessions if paid by the first class night.
