[AUG. 17, 2005]  SPRINGFIELD -- Winners at the Illinois State Fair included the following:
Jerry and Joyce Maxheimer of Mount Pulaski were awarded as the Logan County Outstanding Farm Family by the National Farmers Organization of Illinois.

Betsy Pech of Lincoln received the Logan County Excellence in Teaching Award -- District 3 from the Illinois Association of Vo-Ag Teachers.
