[DEC. 12, 2005]  FLEMINGTON, N.J. -- New insights from a national survey of 859 U.S. pharmacists released Friday reveal regional differences in pharmacists' opinions on filling prescriptions for emergency contraception. The national survey was conducted Dec. 3-4 by HCD Research to obtain the views of pharmacists in response to recent media reports that four pharmacists were suspended by the Walgreen Co. in Illinois for refusing to fill emergency contraception prescriptions.
