To the editor:

As members of AFSCME Council 31, Local 1277 we would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for their support during our fall fund raiser for bath aide services for low income senior citizens. A check will be presented to the Logan County Health Department for "House Calls".
Funding generated will allow certified nurse's aides to provide bath services to those who need, but cannot afford, this necessity. Donations continue to be accepted through out the year.

Thanks to Charlie, Bill and staff at the Lincoln IGA for their helpfulness and generosity at the sandwich sale and bake sale. Thanks to Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for providing generous incentive funding and to Thrivent volunteers for their donations of time and baked goods. Thanks to local churches and community organizations for their monetary gifts.
Lastly, a big thank you to the union and non-union members of the Logan County Health Department who volunteered their time and energy to make a difference in the lives of those people we serve.
