LINCOLN -- Ted R. Leever, 82, of Lincoln died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at 1:35 p.m. at the Christian Village Nursing Home.

His funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta. Ryan Edgecombe will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in McClimans Cemetery, Hallsville.

Mr. Leever worked in the Illinois state comptroller's office in Springfield for many years.

He was born Feb. 24, 1923, at Waynesville to Holton and Emma Meachum Leever.

He is survived by one sister, Marge Hickey of Decatur, and several nieces and nephews.

Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Village Nursing Home.
