Winter play, 'The Boys Next Door,' at Lincoln Community High School Send a link to a friend

[JAN. 12, 2005]  Both laughter and tears will be part of the winter play, "The Boys Next Door," at Lincoln Community High School this week. The story focuses on four developmentally disabled men who live in a communal residence with their nearly burned-out social worker.

The play opens Thursday at 7 p.m. in the LCHS auditorium, with a 7 p.m. performance Friday and a 2 p.m. performance Sunday.

The group home residents are played by Brady Gerdts, Daniel Ohmart, Brandon Davis and Tony Curcuru. Erik Knutilla plays their social worker.

Other actors in the production are Janel Filbeck, Patrick Perry, Lindsey Boerma, Amy Schumacher, Noah Schrader, Sonya Twist, Hannah Synder and Kathryn Muck.

Chelsea Cheatham is director, with assistance from student directors Ally Adolphson, Peter Barmes and Genevieve Larson.

Chelsea Filbeck and Tom Swanson are technical directors, with James Cosby and A.J. Wunderlin serving as set directors.

Ticket prices are $4 for adults and $2.50 for students.
