Lincoln
Police and Logan County Sheriff's departments make collaborative
busts
[JULY 6, 2005] On the morning of Friday, July 1, the Lincoln
Police Department and the Logan County Sheriff's Department tactical
teams did three joint search warrants at two different locations in
Lincoln.
The first search warrant was done on Willard Avenue. Arrested at the
Willard Avenue residence was Artie T. Horath. The charges on Horath
are possession of cannabis between 500 and 2,000 grams,
manufacturing/delivery of cannabis between 500 and 2,000 grams, and
unlawful use of a weapon.
The other two
search warrants were done at a local motel. Arrested at the motel
were:
Candice L. Merriman -- for manufacturing/delivery of
controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Shannon Fisher -- for manufacturing/delivery of controlled
substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Darryl E. Price -- manufacturing/delivery of controlled
substance and possession of a controlled substance.
These three warrants are in conjunction with two other arrests
that occurred on May 27 at a different motel. Those arrests also
involved the Lincoln Police Department and the Logan County
Sheriff's Department.
Arrested at that time were:
Michael J. Cole -- for criminal drug conspiracy,
manufacturing/delivery possession with intent to
manufacture/deliver controlled substance, possessing controlled
substance, delivery or possessing intent to deliver.
Cornelius M. Jackson -- for criminal drug conspiracy,
manufacturing/delivery possession with intent to
manufacture/deliver controlled substance, possessing controlled
substance.
