Tuesday night baseball          Send a link to a friend

[JUNE 1, 2005]  Two Lincoln baseball teams played Tuesday night: J-Go, coached by Marty Biggs, and Triple T, coached by Craig Smith. J-Go won the game 1-0.

Steve Green scored the only run of the game, after hitting to get on base with a single. He was driven in with a sacrifice fly by Louie Schonauer and a single hit by Kyle Young.

Tyson Smith of TTT had two hits.

Josh Mote pitched four scoreless innings for TTT.

Louie Schonauer pitched four scoreless innings for J-Go and had six strikeouts for the night. Kyle Young pitched three scoreless innings for J-Go and had five strikeouts.

Devon Biggs, J-Go's catcher, threw two runners out who were attempting to steal.

Buck Rifner had a great hit in the sixth inning, and Brandon Crowell made a catch in center field to win the game.
