First Midwest TPX Top 96 Invitational Baseball Showcase          Send a link to a friend

[JUNE 7, 2005]  WAYLAND, Mass. -- The first-ever Midwest TPX Top 96 Invitational Baseball Showcase is coming to St. Louis, Mo., on July 8 and 9. Applications are now being accepted online at www.tpxtop96.com.

Each year approximately 130-150 college coaches and pro scouts attend the Boston showcase and are looking for high school baseball players who want to play at the next level. This large turnout is due to the fact that enrollment is limited to 144 players (96 position players and 48 pitchers) and only the best players are selected from those who apply, based on stats, references and academics. A similar turnout is expected for the Midwest showcase.

More than 83 percent of the attendees have gone on to play baseball in college, making the TPX Top 96 one of the most successful baseball showcases in the country.

The deadline for receiving all of the application information from the players is June 17. All varsity high school players graduating in 2006-2008 are eligible to apply.
