LINCOLN -- Pearl E. Lock, 82, of Beason died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at 8:23 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Chestnut, with the Rev. Thomas Cruikshank officiating.

Burial will be in Laenna Cemetery, Chestnut.

Mrs. Lock had worked at Stetson China Factory and was a cook at Beason Grade School and Lincoln Developmental Center.

She was born Dec. 19, 1922, in Lincoln to Frederick and Ida Wolken Stoll. She married Nelson H. Lock in Decatur on Sept. 14, 1943. He died Feb. 11, 1981.

She is survived by three sons, David (and Genia) Lock of Beason, Nelson J. (and Peg) Lock of Decatur and Ron (and Carolyn) Lock of Owaneco; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bertha Moeller of Salem and Blanche Wrage of Kenney.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Sprague; one sister, Adeline Zickler; and two brothers, Ralph Stoll and Erhardt Stoll.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Chestnut, and memorials may be made to the church.

LINCOLN -- Jeffery J. Sutton, 53, of Lincoln died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at 8:20 p.m. at his home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

There will be no service.

Mr. Sutton had been a sealer at Pittsburgh Plate Glass.

He was born July 18, 1951, in Lincoln to James and Irean Bradley Sutton.

He is survived by his father, of Lincoln; two daughters, Joanie (and Tod) Pierce of Lincoln and Jessica (and Jeremy) Rich of Lincoln; four grandsons, Luke, Brett, Damian and Tyler, all of Lincoln; one granddaughter, Amber of Lincoln; one brother, James "Joe" (and Cathie) Sutton of Mount Pulaski; and one sister, Pamela (and Dave) Thompson of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He was a member of Sons of the American Legion Post 263 and Moose Lodge 1441 of Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to the Jeffery Sutton Memorial Fund.

LINCOLN -- Virgil D. Lowman, 102, of Lincoln died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at 5:25 p.m. at the Christian Nursing Home.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Old Union Cemetery, with Tom Gerdts officiating.

There is no visitation.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln handled arrangements.

Mr. Lowman had been a self-employed house painter.

He was born Aug. 27, 1902, at Hartsburg to Samuel and Arabelle Briggs Lowman.

He is survived by one daughter, Glenda Blocker of Lincoln; one son, Jerry Lowman of Lincoln; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

He was a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to the Virgil Lowman Memorial Fund.
