Moderate threat of severe weather Monday  Send a link to a friend

[JUNE 13, 2005]  Logan County is under moderate risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight (Monday).

Wind conditions will be right to create rotating thunderstorms. These systems often create tornadoes.

Late afternoon and evening storms are expected to develop bow shapes, which create high straight-line winds. Winds may reach 70 mph with these storms.

Should weather become threatening, monitor your NOAA "all hazards" radio and commercial sources.
