Alexander, ISU lose heartbreaker on Senior Night

I'm sure that Lincoln's Gregg Alexander had a different ending in mind to his ISU career.  However, he and his fellow seniors could not snap out of the funk they are in and succumbed to Creighton 64-59 in Normal. Alexander did hit for double figures in his final home contest and nailed three 3s to boot.

For all their trouble the Redbirds were awarded another date with the Bluejays Saturday night in St. Louis at the MVC tourney. Arch Madness begins on Friday.

Best wishes to Gregg and the 'Birds this weekend and hopefully into postseason play.
