Carroll Catholic advances to state in 8A volleyball

[MARCH 15, 2005]  CHANDLERVILLE -- Carroll Catholic won the Class 8A sectional volleyball championship in three games Monday night at A-C Central Junior High. Scores for the Carroll Catholic versus A-C Central match were 8-15, 15-11, 15-1.

This is the first time in school history that the Crusaders will advance to the state tournament in volleyball. Chelsea Faith coaches the team.

Carroll Catholic will play Bloomington Holy Trinity at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Hartsburg in the first round of the tournament.
